Beyonce's mom spills daughter's pregnancy secrets

Beyonce is craving waffles as a pregnant mom, according to her own mother.

Designer Tina Knowles insists her daughter is over the worst of her morning sickness and is now "doing really good".

She tells Life & Style magazine, "She went through morning sickness, but she's got past it now... and she's busy. She's craving waffles... the normal - just wanting to eat!"

Knowles reveals her daughter and son-in-law Jay-Z already know the sex of their first child - but they're not telling.

And she insists they'll be great parents: "Beyonce is going to be an awesome mom. I think it (motherhood) will slow her down somewhat, but I think she'll be the same great person she's (always) been... (and) I think he's (Jay-Z) going to be awesome. They are very, very happy and just glowing. It's great to see."

Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting their first child together in February (12).
