Bella Thorne slams Charlie Puth for cheating tweets

Actress Bella Thorne has blamed reported ex Charlie Puth for ruining her life by suggesting she was double dating him and actor Tyler Posey last year (16).

The 19-year-old Blended star received death threats following the relationship drama in December (16), when some of Posey's fans were convinced she was cheating on him.

The fuss reared up after beach pictures of the actress and the singer appeared online, forcing Bella to explain she had split from Tyler weeks before.

And, in a new Harper's Bazaar interview, she admits Puth really didn't help matters.

"Charlie thought I was spending the holiday with Tyler and he tweeted all this... making me look like a cheater and a whore," she explains. "I had to basically bang down his door, calling him like, 'What are these tweets...?'

"This guy is publicly slandering my name and making me seem like I'm a whore. I'm a woman, I have the right to date around. If I want to go out with you I can, and if I don't, I'm not going to. You can't just do that to people."

The teenager admitted the drama really took a toll on her and she is desperate to return to a positive place in her life.

"I was in a happier place (a while ago) than I had been recently and now I'm back to a happier place," she told People magazine. "I went through a breakup and that was kind of tough... Fans, if you're just seen with somebody, they think you're immediately, you gotta be in a relationship with them. Which is not true. I hang out all the time with different people that I'm not dating, that I'm just friends with.

"I hang out with a lot of guys because I'm a total tomboy. So a lot of my friends end up being guys because a lot of girls are like kind of too girly for me sometimes."
