Ashley Judd moving into Twin Peaks

Actress Ashley Judd has become the latest big name to pack her bags for Twin Peaks after signing on to star in the cult series revival.

Kyle MacLachlan will reprise his role as FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper in the reboot of the 1990s supernatural show, and Amanda Seyfried, Laura Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Naomi Watts have all recently joined the cast as new residents of the fictional Washington town.

Now Judd can add her name to the list, too, reports Deadline.com, although details about her role have yet to be announced.

Filmmaker and Twin Peaks creator David Lynch is both directing and writing the new installment, which will debut in 2017. MacLachlan's original co-stars, including Sherilyn Fenn, Michael Horse, Sheryl Lee, and Peggy Lipton, will also return for the series.
