Anthony weeps at birthday concert

Marc Anthony broke down in tears celebrating his 43rd birthday on Friday (16Sep11) as fans at his sold-out Florida concert serenaded him.

The salsa star fell to his knees when the crowd began singing Happy Birthday immediately after Anthony took the stage at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.

He then cried as he thanked the crowd for "all your love and support, especially this year; it means a lot to me".

He added, "Who in the world could say they're spending their birthday like this? I'm a very lucky man."

Later in the evening, Anthony hosted a birthday bash at Viceroy Hotel's Club 50, where he partied with 150 friends and enjoyed a slice of birthday cake, according to People.com.

The singer spent the following day (17Sep11) with his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez and their twins, Max and Emme.

The couple announced they are divorcing after seven years of marriage in July (11).
