Agyness Deyn fell for husband after years of friendship

Agyness Deyn has opened up about her surprise wedding to Giovanni Ribisi earlier this year (12), insisting the pair was pals for years before falling for each other.

The British beauty shocked fans by eloping with the Avatar star in Los Angeles in June (12), just months after revealing she struggled to find lasting love.

The pair has kept its life together under wraps since the union, but Deyn has now broken her silence on their relationship and reveals they suddenly fell in love and were desperate to wed.

She tells Britain's Stella magazine, "When people used to say that (about falling in love), I didn't know what they meant. And then when I felt it I was like, 'This is powerful stuff.'... We both felt it! And now it makes so much sense, both of us wanting that. It's a really symbolic thing."
