Jessica Alba had a "hard time agreeing" to exchanging vows with husband Cash Warren - because she has never believed in marriage.
The couple tied the knot in a low-key ceremony at the Beverly Hills Courthouse in Los Angeles in 2008, just weeks before Alba gave birth to their first child, daughter Honor Marie, now 20 months.
But the Hollywood actress was reluctant to make their union official, because she has never wanted to wed.

Tila Tequila is preparing for motherhood by relaunching herself as a businesswoman - she's set up a record label and artist management company.

Jessica Alba has spoken out in defence of Lindsay Lohan just months after the troubled actress was accused of kissing her husband in a nightclub - calling the rumours "ridiculous lies."
Lohan hit the headlines in November (09) when a tabloid claimed she was spotted getting close to Alba's partner, Cash Warren, at a Hollywood hotspot.

Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum's new romantic drama Dear John has ended Avatar's reign at the top of the box office.
The Lasse Hallstrom tearjerker has opened with a surprise $32.4 million - almost $10 million more than James Cameron's sci-fi blockbuster in its eighth week on release.
In that time, Avatar has landed a domestic total of a whopping $630 million, making the film the biggest box office hit in the country's box office history.
John Travolta's new action movie From Paris with Love was a distant third on the new box office list, taking in $8.1 million in its opening weekend.

Robert Pattinson is urging Hollywood bosses to schedule a start date for the last Twilight movie - because he can't "organise" his life until he knows when he will be shooting the final film.
The British hunk shot to international stardom in the vampire franchise, playing bloodsucker Edward Cullen in two big screen releases so far.
He's already finished filming the third installment, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which is due to hit cinemas in July (10) - and he wants movie chiefs to organise production on the final film, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, so he can arrange his diary.

Ashton Kutcher went from Punk'd to punk during a guest hosting stint on TV skit show Saturday Night Live when he joined musical guest Dave Grohl as part of an ageing hardcore band performing a song called Fist Fight in the Parking Lot at a wedding.
Kutcher also mimicked Mel Gibson on Saturday's (06Feb10) show and played the pool boy lover of a 110-year-old woman.
The actor celebrated his birthday on the show by ripping off his trousers to reveal leopard-print briefs.
He said, "Happy birthday to me. There's no better way to spend my birthday."

Robert Pattinson has laughed off rumours he's set to replace Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man - but insists he'd love to take over the lead role in the superhero series.
Maguire and director Sam Raimi recently quit the blockbuster franchise, and movie bosses subsequently announced plans to reboot the upcoming fourth film as a prequel.

Katy Perry has incurred the wrath of her followers on Twitter.com - after posting a lurid picture of upcoming 17 year old singer Sky Ferreira and describing her as "fresh meat."
The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker showed fans a photo of the teenager with her legs apart and only a carefully-placed water bottle preserving her modesty.
Perry captioned the picture, "I like em right before they're famous... Fresh meat" - but several angry fans have turned on the star because Ferreira is still a minor.
