you don't know if he's going to kill you or kiss you. I was like, okay. I'm kind of I'm kind of weird and creepy like that.
That's generally how women like their men. The creepier you get on the show, the more they want you.
Nice. I'll remember that.
What's up, guys? Mickey Novak here in the Young Hollywood studio with the horrified and terrified Evan Peters. And we got a bit of a fight.
That was actually, I hit on uh Jessica Lang and she punched me in the face.
Really? I heard she gets vicious when she gets hit on.
She does.
So American Horror Story. Don't you dare me, pirate. Don't you dare! Don't you dare on me. The good news is for you and for any character on the show, you can't get killed off because you can just come back as a ghost. That's right. You die, you're pretty much. You're set. So once you're on the show, you're on the show. So I would say your second season is pretty much guaranteed.
That would be great. Yeah, I would love that.
I heard that actually you had an interesting way of getting into the business. Something about the Olsen twins?
Uh, really? Yeah. Uh, no, that was I don't know, I just wanted to meet them. Was that last year? No, that was That was when I was 15 and then And then, like, being here and really getting into the whole acting thing that it kind of changed. And now it's like to work with really good people and
Now you're hitting on Jessica Lange instead of the Olsen twins.
Now I like Jessica Lange. I'm growing significantly older.
Have you ever met them?
No. No, I've never met the twins.
So once you do, you'll quit.
Yeah. Basically. Pretty much.
You're only doing American Horror Story till you meet them and then from then you'll just
Then I retire. I met the twins and I'm out of here.
I would never let anybody or anything hurt you. I've never felt that way about anyone. So I got a I Twitter question from one of our fans that said, cuz Ryan Murphy's known to sort of not tell his actors necessarily what their backstory is.
Yeah.
Do you happen to know yours?
I mean, he told me a little bit before we started the pilot, but Yeah. All of this is sort of uh come uh yeah, for for each episode you sort of find out what you're what you're doing. You're kind of a troubled person. He's kind of a creepy character. You don't know if he's going to kill you or kiss you. I was like, okay. I'm kind of I'm kind of weird and creepy like that.
That's generally how women like their men. See, you have like this whole I saw on Twitter you have this whole fan following. All these women are like, oh, he's so sexy. And I'm like, what is it with women liking damaged guys? I mean, your character, not you personally.
Thank you.
But it's like the the creepier you get on the show, the more they want you.
Nice. Okay. I'll remember that.
Do you watch the show?
Yeah, I watch the show.
Do you ever get creeped out? Because I can't watch your show at night.
You can't?
I have to TiVo and watch it during the day.
You're weak.
I am weak. Well, I'm not really a horror person. Like I'm really not, but we had Alexandra Breckenridge in here.
Yeah, Breckenstein. Breckenstein. Generally when I work, it's like, well, will you dye your hair orange and get a cat? You're a naughty little vixen, aren't you? This is so naughty. How much fun are you having?
I'm having a lot of fun. It's really difficult cuz it's just I mean, it's nothing like my personality. I mean, I've never acted that way in my life.
I watched one episode to do my research and got hooked. But I cannot watch it at night.
You're weak.
That's scary sitting next to you right now. I hated high school. I want to watch it because it's like, I don't know. I want to see with the commercial breaks and everything. I like fast forwarding through it. It's just like, it's a whole experience watching a TV show. And are you in suspense watching your own show?
Uh, cuz I cuz I know what's going to happen like through the story. I'm out of suspense, but I'm anxious to see how they shot everybody else's stuff and and uh and how it all kind of came together. So.
Are you a horror movie person? Cuz I heard that you weren't, that you get scared and your back starts to hurt.
I do, yeah, stress out. I get really stressed out like thinking about horror movies and and uh and and going to see them in the theater and stuff. I have to eat a lot of food before I go in there. So I kind of relax, you know.
I heard you play piano.
I play piano.
Classical music?
Yeah.
You know what I did? I just went to see uh uh the symphony that Gustavo guy. Is that his name? The guy with the crazy hair who was freaking out on TV. You see that guy? Is are you channeling It's a yeah, The end.
