Young Hollywood

Thank you for coming in.

Tia Mowry

No problem.

Young Hollywood

Obsessed with your hair. Obsessed.

Tia Mowry

Oh my gosh, thank you. And you know I just heard that Beyoncé, she cut her haircut's like this now. It was really, really short, but now it's like in this bob. And I'm like,

Young Hollywood

Because she saw your picture and she was like, I got to have what Tia's having. No, but, but you're one of those people, you experiment with your hair. You're brave that way. You're not afraid to like change it up.

Tia Mowry

I do. Do you know what? I'm I'm not, but I have to give it to my hairstylist Kareem. He is incredible. He's amazing.

Young Hollywood

Does that change what you wear?

Tia Mowry

Yes. Yes. Definitely, it does. Cuz I feel like with me, like even if my hair goes a little lighter or a little darker, excuse to shop. None of my words of works anymore. No, yeah. Whole new wardrobe. No, that's true.

Young Hollywood

Incredible. Incredible.

Tia Mowry

Oh, thank you. Thank you.

Young Hollywood

But tell me, how do Cuz when I saw that picture of Beyoncé with her little cropped hair, I was like, Like gasping, drinking my coffee in the morning going, No, yeah. Like it's shocking when people your hair that.

Tia Mowry

But you know what? I I I I think I understand why she could have done it. I mean, she is a mom now and, you know, I cut my hair off after becoming a mom and you're not the same person. You're completely a new person and you just want to, you know, start off fresh and, you know, with a new cut and a new you. So, I

Young Hollywood

And did you bring me stretch mark cream? I wanted to know that. No, cuz I've never had kids. but I need stretch mark cream.

Tia Mowry

I know, but you know I do, we have a stretch mark cream. My sister and I called Stretch. That's why I'm asking. Stretchy for knee brands. com and it's it's great. No, I didn't bring you should told me.

Young Hollywood

And for people who have never had children that still want the stretch mark cream. Or milky, the uh, you know, that I don't need. No. To enhance your breast milk. Well, it's interesting what you're saying about like how you change when you become a mom. Cuz there's a line in in Baggage Claim in the movie where the mom in the movie is a little old fashion and she's like, you're not a woman until you get married and have kids. How do you feel about that?

Tia Mowry

I I I I don't think that's true. No. I don't think that having kids or being married defines who you are as a person or defines you as a woman.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, it was a very old school way of but did it change? Did you feel like a tremendous difference in like how you felt as a woman?

Tia Mowry

I I did. And to be honest with you, I was very shy before I had Kree, my son. But after having him, I feel sexier. I don't know and I I I feel so strong and powerful. I do. I feel like I am now a lioness.

Young Hollywood

I love it. Well, let's talk about the movie a little bit. Okay. You rocked my world because this scene where you go off. Yeah. You go off on somebody. I won't say who and I won't say this right. I don't want to spoil it. Yeah. Please teach me.

Tia Mowry

I think I think the key is to have no fear. Say what you want. Say what you mean. This is your platform and just get it all out. Um, but yeah and have fun. Not thinking.

Young Hollywood

This is it. From now on, no filter. No filter. What is power? Has the reaction been to people who have seen that scene?

Tia Mowry

Oh my gosh. Everybody, they are shocked. Number one. They're like, wow, Tia. I didn't even know that was in you. I I feel sorry for your husband. Um, but it's actually the feedback has been really, really good. It seems like a lot of people are really interested in seeing this movie. It's a such a good movie.

Young Hollywood

It is. Entertaining from top to bottom. It's it's a lot of fun.

Tia Mowry

It's a lot of fun. And I had so much fun doing it. I really did.

Young Hollywood

So, let's talk about traveling. What is your style when you travel?

Tia Mowry

It's all about comfort. I'm I'm I'm in the sweats. I have on no makeup. And also, I travel when I'm traveling with my son as well. I'm in sneakers. I'm not trying to always look cute. And in my opinion, I I think, you know, if if somebody meets me the way I am, who I am most of the time, I think that's the best. You know what I mean? That's what I want somebody looking my worst. So I can only go up from there in their opinion.

Young Hollywood

Exactly. Exactly. Well, I have a game for you and we might not agree on the answers to the.

Tia Mowry

Oh no. Okay.

Young Hollywood

It's a two-parter. It's like a travel and a dating kind of, you know, this is called this can fly or too much baggage. So if you went to on a date with a man and they did this, this can fly or just too much baggage. Don't want to deal. Okay.

Tia Mowry

Oh, no. Too much baggage. Oh, my gosh.

Young Hollywood

So the first scenario is and this is taken from the movie. You go to a man's house and he has on his big screen TV a slideshow of pictures of just himself.

Tia Mowry

Too much baggage. I can't be with somebody who loves himself more than me like that.

Young Hollywood

So you just walking out?

Tia Mowry

Yeah, it's too much baggage. No.

Young Hollywood

Okay. A man who has a teeny tiny teacup dog.

Tia Mowry

This is where the Okay. I love teacup dogs. Me too. And I used to have a chihuahua. So, this could that could fly. That could fly.

Young Hollywood

What if it had bows in its hair and it was called juicy? And it was his dog?

Tia Mowry

And it was his dog. Ooh, I don't know. Hey.

Young Hollywood

This can fly or too much baggage. A man who orders for you at a restaurant. Down to the drink.

Tia Mowry

Oh, these are hard questions. If he knows what I like.

Young Hollywood

He's taking control. We're talking first date. First date. Yeah.

Tia Mowry

Oh, no. That's too much baggage.

Young Hollywood

Okay. Second part of this game is about traveling. Okay. When this is a which is worst scenario. Which is worst? Yes. Okay. The person that brings their smelly food onto a plane, like a tuna sandwich. Well, you wouldn't bring tuna, but you know how like it permeates the whole plane?

Tia Mowry

Okay. No, I do have it's it's called kimchi. It's it's a cultured vegetable that I eat and and it's it's smells so bad. It's embarrassing.

Young Hollywood

Okay. It's bad. So, either that, which is worse, that or the person that falls asleep next to you on the plane and passes gas through the whole flight.

Tia Mowry

Oh my God. You know what I would have to say, the guy who falls asleep and passes gas. That's I can handle some kimchi but I can't handle the other part. That's It's no. Not good.

Young Hollywood

Okay. Which is worst? An armrest hog or the person on an overnight flight that is laughing at the movie they're watching?

Tia Mowry

Oh, I would say the armrest hog. I love when when a guy laughs. I I I I will just start joining in. I'll be like, yeah, what are you watching?

Young Hollywood

I know, I always have plane envy where I think whatever they're watching looks so much better than what I'm watching.

Tia Mowry

Yeah. I love to laugh. And if I'm seeing a guy, you know, laughing, I think that I think that that's cool.

Young Hollywood

Okay. This is how do you deal? You're at the airport. You pick up the wrong bag by accident. Looks just like your bag. You get to your hotel. You open it. You didn't pack that great, but this bag is full of Louboutins, Gucci. Oh God. Whatever like your dream wardrobe. Do you return it or you just keep it?

Tia Mowry

Oh my gosh. I'm going to return it.

Young Hollywood

What? Yes. I'm going to return it. You don't buy You're so stylish. I would take it.

Tia Mowry

No, it's it's not mine. No, cuz inevitably you take it and you wear the Louboutins and you trip and you break your ankle or something.

Young Hollywood

Next time you come in. Yeah. I want stretch mark cream. Yes. And then milky. And I can't wait to see what your hair style is next.

Tia Mowry

Oh, yeah. Cuz Beyonce will be showing up with that the week after.

Young Hollywood

Oh god. Thanks for coming in. You're such a pleasure. Congrats on the film. You're a great movie.
