Super Bowl Sunday Offers a Smorgasbord of Epic Movie Trailers!

Written by Amanda Baltazar. Published: February 05 2015

So the Super Bowl was this past Sunday and there were many mixed emotions about the commercials this year. There is always a lot of hype around the ads, and Super Bowl XLIX was no exception. Check out our 5 faves here.

But just as important as the commercials were, the thing that had ME glued to the TV screen were the movie trailers. So, in case you missed it, here are the mind-blowing previews that got us all hyped to hit the theatres this year!

Let’s start with my favorite.

Jurassic World (June 12)

I get chills every time I hear that classic Jurassic theme song.

Furious 7 (April 3)

This franchise is still coming out just as strong as it did when the first film was released. Definitely excited for this one too!

Pitch Perfect 2 (May 15)

Terminator Genisys (July 1)

Not a queen, not a khaleesi, but a butt-kicking Sarah Connor! Mother of Dragons Emilia Clarke stars in this new installment of a franchise that has seen its share of  ups and downs, but the Governator is in this one, so it has to be awesome!

Fifty Shades of Grey (February 13)

Seventh Son (February 6)

Kingsman: The Secret Service (February 13)

Reminds me of Agent Cody Banks but with Samuel L. Jackson.

As for the animated films, we have...

Minions (Summer)

If you watch closely, the minions are actually more hilarious than expected.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (February 6)

Spongebob first started when I was in elementary school. Wow, I feel old.

Inside Out (June 19)

Ted 2 (June 26)

Tom Brady. 'Nuff said.

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (February 20)

And they went there. Regardless of “Deflategate”, the Patriots were the better team that day.

Insurgent (March 20)

So far, the trailers haven’t given us much to work with storyline-wise, but the special effects are on point. In theaters March 20th.

Unfinished Business (March 6)

I will be in the theaters on to see this film for the other Franco. Love you, Dave!

And last but certainly not least...

Tomorrowland (May 22)

Check out all the trailers and let us know which one you’re most excited to see!
