Whitney Port happy to take her time shedding post-baby pounds

Whitney Port is in no rush to shed her baby weight following the birth of her son.

The reality TV star and her husband Tim Rosenman welcomed Sonny Sanford in July (17), and rather than hit the treadmill, Whitney is happy to let the pounds fall away naturally.

"Some people have been asking me what I'm doing to drop the baby weight," Whitney smiled to People magazine. "And I'm thinking, 'Lay off people, I just made a human!' Honestly, I'm feeling more confident than ever, and I'm just rejecting the idea that I have to bounce back to a certain size."

While the 32-year-old is embracing her new figure, she's decided her wardrobe needs to be revamped and has partnered with ThredUp, a fashion resale website, to sell some of her pre-baby clothes to make room for garments that fit her "changing body and new lifestyle".

The fashionista's items will go up for sale on Friday (15Sep17), and all proceeds will be going to Every Mother Counts, a non-profit organization dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safe. ThredUp will match the total donations.

Fans of the star will get a chance to snap up items including the Elizabeth and James wrap dress she wore to her baby shower, with prices ranging from $22 to $322 (£16 - £237).

"Today I'm selling some of my pre-pregnancy clothes on thredUP.com to make room in my closet for clothes that fit my changing body and new lifestyle," the blonde beauty said in a statement. "I'm also selling some super cute clothes I wore throughout my pregnancy. I'm excited that the proceeds from this sale will benefit Every Mother Counts, and thredUP.com will match every dollar raised."
