Adam Driver: 'Rebecca Blunt exists, she visited Logan Lucky set'

Adam Driver has added to the mystery surrounding the first-time screenwriter of his new film, insisting Rebecca Blunt is for real - and she visited the set of Logan Lucky.

Critics and film experts alike believe Blunt is not a real person, but a pseudonym made up by director Steven Soderbergh and his writer wife Jules Asner, and Driver was asked about the drama at the heist film's London premiere on Monday (21Aug17).

Asked if Blunt was a real person, the actor said, "Yes, she's been on set."

But the mysterious Rebecca Blunt has no other mentions in union databases and she has never been interviewed or photographed during promotion for the film.

Soderbergh addressed speculation about Blunt's existence last month (Jul17), telling Entertainment Weekly, "When people make a statement like that, they should be very careful, especially when it's a woman screenwriter who is having her first screenplay produced."
