Demi Lovato lands MTV special

Demi Lovato has teamed up with bosses at MTV for an upcoming motivational TV special.

The Disney star has the words 'Stay' and 'Strong' inked on her wrists to cover self-harming cuts, and Lovato is using her motto as the basis for the documentary next month (Mar12).

In a post on her Facebook.com page, she writes, "I'm SO excited to tell you guys about my first ever special on MTV! Hope you guys all tune in!"

Stay Strong will air on 6 March (12).
