Yammering About The Lastest Networking Tool

Being the CEO of my own company can be pretty hectic, for sure. Making sure everyone is on the same page is a MUST for having an efficient business. Thankfully, there are so many tools out there today that I would probably be lost without (seriously, how did people ever get anything done before the Internet or cell phones??).

That's why I was so intrigued when I heard about Yammer. It's a microblogging service similar to Twitter except it's geared specifically toward enterprises and businesses. Like almost every other social networking site, Yammer started as a way for one specific organization to communicate among themselves but then later branched out to a wider market. And now, Yammer has gone even further by developing "Communities," which lets businesses connect to outside entities such as clients, partners, suppliers, etc. All you do is enter your work email address on the Yammer website, and you're automatically linked in with all other users from that company's domain.

Sounds like Yammer is going to really revolutionize how people do business these days. I wonder how long before the Facebook kids get their hands on it" ¦
