Ready to be scared again? Ready to go without sleep for weeks on end? Well, rest up now, you guys, because it’ll soon be time for another Paranormal Activity movie!

 

The trailer for Paranormal Activity 4 just came out, and from what I can tell, all the events from the previous three movies seem to be leading up to this one! Here’s a quick recap of the story so far – two sisters, Katie and Kristi, are terrorized as children by ghostly forces that seem to be controlled by a creepy cult that their grandmother belongs to, which also killed their parents. Fast-forward to 2006 when Katie gets possessed by a demon, kills her husband, then kills Kristi and kidnaps Kristi’s baby son. The boy appears to be the key in this whole story…

 

Not very many plot details have been released about the new movie, but from the trailer, we can make some guesses. We’re introduced to a new family, particularly a teenage girl, who start experiencing some strange stuff too, and somehow Katie and the little boy are involved. It will be interesting to see how series creator and writer Oren Peli ties this all together!
