The Oscar's: It's All About The After Parties

After the show it's the after party.  People in this town live for this.  Not just any after party, The Oscar after parties.  This is the biggest night in Hollywood, and it gives us all an excuse to get dressed up and be a part of the glitz and glam of tinsel town.  Vanity Fair, Elton John, Madonna and Demi Moore, are a few of the annual events that bring out some of the biggest names in Hollywood.  One of the major events is in my neighborhood, and it's such a production that they shut down the street for a week.

Last night, I decided to head out to E! Entertainment's Oscar Viewing and After Party, where the event also marked the debut of Drai's Hollywood at the brand new W Hollywood Hotel.  The post-Oscar bash brought out a really fun crowd, and there was some definite Vegas energy in the room.  Drai's takes up the top two floors of the hotel, and the glassed-in rooftop views of LA are breathtaking.  The space is HUGE and the upscale decor is like nothing I've seen before in this city.

 

 

All the E! personalities, including Ryan Seacrest came out, as well as Crispin Glover, Olivia Munn, Audrina Patridge, The Black Eyed Peas, Lance Bass, Terrell Owens, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, to name a few.  DJ Benji Madden and DJ Vice spun on the one's and two's bringing out a whole new mix..from trance, dance, to hip-hop, to top 40, to oldies. You name it, they played it.  The E! Oscar Party at Drai's was the place to be to celebrate the big night.  Although I knew I was in LA, I felt like I was in Vegas.  We all know in Vegas, the night could never end.
