Russian Roulette with Rihanna

Tonight on 20/20, Rihanna premiered her video, Russian Roulette.  This isn't the typical pop sound that we're all used to with her music.  The video is very artistic, exuding a darker and more sinister side to Rihanna.  After what she's gone through, I am not suprised.

The Carter: Lil' Wayne Documentary

This week I was invited to attend a private screening of "The Carter," a documentary on the life of Hip-Hop Superstar, Lil' Wayne.  The screening was hosted by Ben Lyons, as well as Quincy "QD3" Jones (exec producer) and Adam Bhala Lough (Director).  The film was very well done, featuring an intimate and in depth look into the public and private life of Lil' Wayne, showcasing his most personal moments and giving audiences a peak at Wayne in a way that they have never seen him before.

"The Carter" showcased the fun and playful side of Wayne, as well as the dark and lonely moments that every superstar experiences. To me, some of the most interesting scenes in the film were the way he handled the press.  Having interviewed many artists across the spectrum of genres, you never know what to expect, and must always be well-researched and prepared.  You really get to see the creative genius at work in this film, learning that Wayne NEVER stops recording, and carries around a portable studio with him wherever he goes.  "The Carter" will be released on November 17th. Catching Up with Joel McHale

This week, I attended thePuma Partywhere they converted a space in LA into a full-fledged African Bazaar.  It was such a blast, and a great crowd came out to support.  In the event, I caught up with one of the funniest guys on TV, Joel McHale.  His new show, Communityis one of my favorites this season, and we got a chance to talk about the success he's had since our interview back at the NBC In-Fronts (where he commended me on doing my research..haha) Check out the video here:

Added bonus: On the way out, I ran into R&B Sensation Omarion who taught me a thing or two on the dance floor...

Rob Dyrdek Saved My Life

I recently ran into Rob Dyrdek on Halloween and guess who he dressed up as?  Take a wild guess.....the picture says it all.

Hint: The celebrity attended Adam Levine's party that night

Rob and I reconnected at Adam Levine's party above, and talked about how he saved my life at The Fantasy Factory.  Check out the video below where Rob attempts to teach me how to roll on a board and BMX bike into the foam pit....

Katy Perry's 25th Birthday Bash

Hands down, one of the most epic nights in Hollywood. Katy Perry's 25th birthday party was a Willy Wonka white themed extravaganza, to say the least.  We were told to wear all white, but as soon as we arrived, SPLAT! Everyone was throwing neon paint all over each other...NO ONE was safe. Cupcakes, lollipops, candy bars, dancing and laughter everywhere.  Katy had a beautiful Willy Wonka cake brought out on the dance floor (below), and after her birthday speech, she tossed it into the crowd, and then....cake fight.
