Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt Wish You a Happy Hipster New Year!

So, what ARE you doing for New Year’s Eve?
Probably not being anywhere near as irresistibly adorkable as Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, that’s for sure.
The former co-stars of (500) Days of Summer and unofficial patron saints of hipsterdom have come together, stringed instruments in hand, to offer a little New Year’s Eve cheer via song! Perhaps not surprisingly, the charming duo, who’ve been close friends for over a decade, have a significant bond over music, and they decided to share that bond with us with a cute but low-budget video featuring the pair harmonizing to Frank Loesser’s 1947 ditty “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve”.
Their voices blend together magically, and quite frankly, I think Zooey ought to dump that M. Ward cat and permanently hook up with JGL to record an album of old-timey standards. I’d buy it! Would you?
Take a listen to Zooey and Joey’s New Year’s sentiments below:
All together now: “Awwwwwwwww!”
