Zanessa: Model Couple

At the office or on set, professional mingling can become a romantic entanglement.

You've seen those perfect celebrity couples. Almost too good to be true! It's almost as if some Vogue photo editor put couples like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens together for a magazine spread.

As it so happened it was actually a casting director. But of course you already know these two met on the set of High School Musical and fell head over heels. Etching Z+V=4Evr on classroom prop desks presumably ensued.

Hollywood is known for on-screen hookups that spill into real life. Haven't we all had a work-related fling or five? Well, some of us have! Don't judge.

People are actually pretty split on the idea altogether - some say simply: DON'T - so the Young Hollywood crew asked me to tackle dating your co-worker:

Here's my take, Zanessa is quite the model couple, in so many ways, meaning we can all learn from them.

Don't Make It Everybody's Business. The water cooler conversation is going to be all about your work fling no matter what you do. It's human nature. Keep the chatter to a minimum. Professionally speaking, don't talk about your personal life. Zac is very adamant about not doing interviews about his relationship, which is probably a good rule of thumb regardless of his partner's celebrity status. Save all the intricate details of your love life for your friends and family. Your adoring public may try to pry, but the control is in your hands.

Show Affection. There's no reason to ignore the white elephant in the room, so to speak. Everyone knows you're together. While PDA should be kept to a minimum, handholding is appropriate when out in a group. Exchanging loving glances is also acceptable on the red carpet (or wherever you work itù).

Don't Let Your Date Be Prettier Than You. If you're at a work function, look your absolute best. Arrive together, grab unofficial award for hottest couple, get your business done and depart (ideally, to the limo) hand in hand.

Don't Let Work Get In The Way. Make time for each other outside whatever office situation you may have. If you're a rich celebrity couple this might include jetting off to Cabo San Lucas. Or you could just plop down on the couch together for a night in and hang out at home. You don't want your relationship to be a strictly professional affair.

Word.
