Will Original 'Star Wars' Cast Return For New Films?

Well, this whole Disney-buys-Star-Wars thing just took an interesting turn!
That’s because the three main stars of the original Star Wars trilogy – Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher – have ALL expressed interest in being involved with the new slate of Star Wars films announced by Disney last week! If that don’t get you Jedi Junkies excited, I dunno what will.
Reportedly, Episodes VII-IX will take place decades following 1983’s Return of the Jedi. Okay, confession time: the last time I watched any of the original three Star Wars movies, I was still in stroller territory. I remember very little. But I’m pretty sure Han, Luke, and Leia all made it out alive, so they would certainly be able to reprise their roles without any problem. Naturally, the film(s) would not focus on them but on a new generation of space warriors and weird alien creatures and whatnot, but their inclusion would certainly tie everything together and ease fans into these new chapters of the saga. And who doesn’t want to see what a 60-something-year-old Han Solo looks like?? (Hopefully better than a 60-something Indiana Jones… just sayin.)
So, what say you, Warsies? Does the prospect of Ford, Hamill, and Fisher returning to their old stomping grounds give you A NEW HOPE for this franchise? (See what I did there?)
