WHAT IS THE DEAL with Seinfeld's New Webseries?

Jerry Seinfeld, one of our favorite comedy icons, continues to amaze us with each project he takes on, and his newest production is expected to keep with that tradition.

Seinfeld has just announced that he will be premiering his newest project, amusingly entitled "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee", on July 19. Unlike his previous projects, this will take the form of a webseries, a first for Seinfeld. The series will be easily accessible to anyone with a computer and is presented by Crackle, which is associated with the larger Sony Pictures. The premise of the webseries is expected to follow exactly what the title implies -- Seinfeld cruising around town in vintage cars with his fellow comedic friends on the way to get coffee.

The one-minute preview that was recently released features some of our all-time favorite television comedians, including Larry David, Ricky Gervais, Alec Baldwin, and his former "Seinfeld" co-star Michael Richards. Jerry has yet to let us down when we need a good, hearty laugh, and we can't wait to see what he and his crew will stir up in the new webseries. So make sure you tune in on July 19 to check it out!
