Before you get visions of some fright-flick house of horrors, Texas Chainsaw Massacre style, this piece of Elijah is a visual replica of his DNA. Everybody's favorite hobbit donated a sample of his genetic makeup -- for the sake of art! The talented young actor has teamed up with DNA 11, a custom print art gallery, to benefit kids in need.
For photos and a link to the auction page, visit: www.dna11.com "" where you too can make your own DNA artwork or make a direct donation to The Art of Elysium.
The gallery uses DNA imprints, lip and finger prints to create individualized, unique art works. The actor's DNA art print will be auctioned off on eBay, with 100% of the profits going to The Art of Elysium.
The Art of Elysium is a non-profit organization that encourages actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to charity. Court mandated community works don't count. This organization is all about doing good words for the right reasons, and those who benefit are children battling serious medical conditions.
Elijah is ecstatic about the project, saying, "I'm really excited to take part in DNA 11's scientific process for creating a unique and original art piece benefiting The Art of Elysium, a charity that I am truly passionate about."
