Is something missing in your life? Are regular cosmetics and fragrances just not cutting it? Well then, do I have news for you! The Home Shopping Network has released a beauty collection called Forsaken, inspired by HBO’s "True Blood". Sounds alluring, right?

 

All of the pieces in the collection are based on colors and characters from the show. For example, you could get your hands on the Sookie Set, full of sheer nudes and beiges with a hint of sparkle for the fae in all of us... or you can grab the Bad Things Set, which includes an array of dark and sultry colors for your more vampy side.

 

Before I go any further, I know what you must be thinking: this is ridiculous  I must admit it, you are right. It is ridiculous, but that is also what’s so great about it! If any television show can come out with a beauty collection and get away with it, it’s "True Blood".

 

The series, which is now in it’s fifth season, continues to become more outrageous and campy as it progresses, but it never seems to lose its edge. This is the true brilliance and essence of the show (thank you, Alan Ball). It seems that the more ridiculous the show becomes, the better it gets. So, what better way to add fuel to the fire then to add a beauty line? 

 

So, I encourage you all to embrace this wacky business endeavor and to take a bite out of Forsaken (while supplies last)!
