Tyler James Williams stars in the hit comedy on CW, Everybody Hates Chris.ù The show is based on childhood experiences of actor/comedian, Chris Rock, who does the narrating on the show.Tyler plays the lead character, Chris, who is a teenager growing up in the Bed-Styù neighborhood of Brooklyn. Chris is the oldest of three siblings. The show chronicles a hilarious account of the trials and tribulations of Chris going through the typical angst of adolescence while negotiating the pitfalls of junior high. At the same time, he is learning to be a responsible young adult while his hard working parents leave him in charge of his two younger siblings. In the show, his father works multiple jobs to support the family, while his mother runs the household, picking up odd jobs when the finances get tight. Both parents want nothing but the best for Chris and his younger siblings. With natural charm, sharp wit, and a scrappy nature, Chris always gets through the many bumps in the road that come with being a teenager.At the tender age of 15, Tyler has done several projects. Tyler began his acting career in 2000, when he starred on the popular children's television show, Sesame Street.ù From there, this Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominated actor appeared in such television shows as Law & Order: Special Victims Unitù and Little Bill,ù a children's cartoon created by Bill Cosby.
