Ken and Cook

Ken and Cook is one of Nolita’s newest restaurants, brought to you by veterans Artan Gjoni and chef Richard Diamonte of the famous Mercer Kitchen. This industrial brasserie features exposed brick, tin ceilings, and a sleek exterior that screams Downtown Chic. Quickly becoming known for their mouth-watering fried chicken and biscuits, this French-style restaurant also offers up classics like raw oysters, beef tare tare, and a fettuccine with foie gras. Ken and Cook maybe be new, but it won’t be long before you’ll have trouble getting a table at this sure-to-be hot spot.

Like its sister restaurants, STK and Bagetelle, Asellina brings sleek interior and comfort together for a zen-like atmosphere. What makes the food so authentic is in large part due to the kitchen being helmed by Sardinian native Marco Porceddu. Asellina offers up an impressive wine list as well as dishes like seasonal vegetable flatbread pizza, black ink fettuccine, and roasted branzino, which will keep you coming back again and again.
