Admit it, Coachella is barely about the music. Let's go to the parties.

Mikey Glazer here to tell you where the L.A. party scene will be hydrating this weekend, the lists you're not (yet) on, and which events you'll be reading about in the weeklies next week.

The Music Lounge at IndieOasis

When: 12P "" 6 PM, Fri- Sunday

How Far From the Concert? 5 Minutes by Car

Location: Private Mansion. It's a secret.

Special Entertainment: DJs A-Trak, VV Brown, Felix Cartel, LA Riots, and other people you can see here before and after they play at Coachella.

Eats and Drinks: CafÃƒ© Bustelo, UV Vodka

Perks: Pool. Get out of the concert. Get out of the heat. Jump in and cool off. Drink CafÃƒ© Bustelo for healthy sources of energy.

When: 11pm "" 3AM, Saturday Night

How Far From the Concert? 10 minute drive. Although the fight for cabs at 3AM when the party breaks up in a desolate parking lot is when the distance issue actually comes in to play.

Location: A Private airplane hangar in Thermal, CA -- good thing this is only a night party. I can't imagine that a place called "Thermal" is pleasant during daylight hours.

Special Entertainment: Rides, Games, A|X's Neon Sunglasses, L.A. scenester DJ's Devin Lucien, Jesse Marco, and DJ Politik. Sadly, DJ AM was a fixture at this party for several years. As always, he will be missed.

Eats and Drinks: This party (formerly hosted by T-Mobile) has a reputation for being the true oasis to get you watered and fed "" Brita Filter ForGood will re-hydrate the parched, Chipotle burritos and Fatburger hamburgers are "what's for dinner", Coffee, sodas, soft drinks, games, rides, , and all the Jose Curevo and Ciroc you can drink will keep 500 of L.A.'s best partying like Diddy until late night.

Location: Riviera Hotel, Palm Springs

How Far From the Concert? Professor Google tells me it's the first sign of desert life you hit on the way out from LA. That makes it a car service or "designated driver" distance from the fields. There's a reason these guys have 2 helicopters on-call to shuttle in talent.

Special Entertainment: Over 50 DJs, everyone from Joel Madden, DJ Cobra, and Clinton Sparks to a satellite club of NYC's 1OAK on Saturday night.

How Far From the Concert? A sober drive. This is why artists and VIPs choose places like this. Golf shots, not Goldschlager shots.

Location: Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Indian Wells.

Special Entertainment: Free stuff * Junk Food Clothing, like vintage inspired rock tees, etc. (* only for Coachella Performers and Music VIPs). Note to idiots: A gifting suite is probably not the one to try to get your car-ful of buddies in to. Unless your idiot buddies are "Muse".

Eats and Drinks: Drinks, snacks, and ...(did you see above?) FREE STUFF. It's a luxury resort so count on the one clean, air conditioned bathroom of the weekend.

The Oasis

Location: Merv Griffin Estates, 5 Minutes WALK from the fields (Winner: 2010 Proximity Award!)

Eats and Drinks: Wahoos Fish Tacos, Ty Ku cocktails (kinda vodka, kinda Sake, kinda the only thing you used to be able to buy inside Coachella VIP)

Perks: L.A. club, Guys and Dolls, puts up a satellite Lounge, G by Guess Style Lounge, and most importantly, a Blackberry Charging Station, and free rides from Nissan.
