The Boys Are Back

Retro fabulous synthpop masters Pet Shop Boys are back on the scene with their new album, Yes. One listen to the first single, Love Etc., and it's like being transported into a world of sound that only the boys can bring.

As a child of the eighties, there are some things I can always count on. Money equals power, girls just want to have fun, and the Pet Shops Boys music will always have a distinctive, yet fresh beat. They're truly unique.

Enduring through the eighties to today, the band has continued to release top selling albums and influence musicians around the world.

The duo is instantly recognized for the dynamic personalities, which almost seem to contrast each other. Then again, their style and sound is contrary to other successful commercial music, defying the industry and establishing them selves as something different.

So basically they totally rule. But here's my thing: people here in the US don't get a lot of exposure to the band because they're from the UK. It's unfortunate that our radio stations play such formatted, recycled material over and over again. If you haven't heard The Pet Shop boys recently, take a listen and download them on iTunes.

For their unique sound, longevity and continued music mastery with Yes, the Pet Shop Boys are What's Hot!
