Taylor Hicks is taking his singing act one step further as he is currently starring as "Teen Angel" in the Broadway musical, Grease. The national tour began December 1, 2008 and is continuing through 2009. With his new act, Taylor will find himself having a broader fan following, in addition to his famed, "Soul Patrol". Although Taylor is following in the footsteps of superstar Frankie Valli, who played "Teen Angel" in the 1978 movie Grease, our own correspondent, Michelle Marie, was amazed by his performance. The season five winner of American Idol is living the high-life as he owns his own record label, Modern Whomp Records (via A2M); has three albums: Taylor Hicks (2006), Early Works (2008), and The Distance (2009); and has a memoir entitled, Heart Full of Soul: An Inspirational Memoir About Finding Your Voice and Finding Your Way (2007).
