Hi everyone,

Thanks for checking out my YH blog series.

As I mentioned within my last entry, I am working on a new film, Heaven's Rain. The film is based on a true story about a murder that took place in Oklahoma, leaving two kids to witness their parents' brutal death by two drifters. The film follows the story of the two kids and their lifelong quest to bring their parents' killers to justice and the extraordinary turn their pursuit takes in the final moment.

I don't want to spoil the film, but please, when you have second, check out some clips and articles as a reference and get a glimpse of the full story. It truly is an inspirational piece and a project I'm excited to be apart of. Stay tuned for the release.

After returning from filming in Oklahoma City, I was only home for a couple days before my trip to Oahu, Hawaii, where I am now working on CBS' remake of the TV series, "Hawaii Five-O." I know"¦such a depressing location, right?! The series will of course be an updated version of the original and I will be playing Steve McGarret's (Alex O'Loughlin) younger sister, Mary Ann. I'll try to post some photos from my trip within my next blog.

On a music note, I will be attending SXSW again! I had an amazing time last year and I can't wait to attend the festival and festivities again. I'm still firming up my schedule, but it looks like I will have three DJ gigs. I will be tweeting about my shows, so be sure to add me on Twitter -- @TarynManning.
