BOO!
Scared yet? Well, if you need help getting into the holiday spirit today, you can count on me!
First of all, I should clear the air -- the photo above is sort of misleading, as I will not be featuring the classic Michael Jackson video/mini-movie, "Thriller." Not because it isn't brilliant, but only because it's a no-brainer. Yes, gentle readers, this week's vids are an homage to scary/creepy/disturbing music videos that aren't "Thriller"!
So, settle in with a bowl of candy corn and a flashlight and watch on.... IF YOU DARE!!!
Soundgarden: "Black Hole Sun" -- Welcome to your acid-soaked nightmare.
Genesis: "Land of Confusion" -- I'm sure Phil Collins & Co. didn't mean for this video to be frightening, but I can recall watching it through the slits of my fingers when I was a kid. You'll never look at Ronald Reagan the same way again...
Rihanna: "Disturbia" -- A harrowing look into madness. Or any Saturday night at a club in West Hollywood. Either way... freakay!!!
Backstreet Boys: "Everybody" -- The BSBs get into the trick-or-treating spirit with this little ode to classic horror movie characters. Whether or not this is actually scary I guess depends on your definition of "scary"...
Lady Gaga: "Bad Romance" -- What? This video is TERRIFYING. Big crazy anime eyes, plastic dancing Bart Simpsons, armadillo shoes... Doesn't get any scarier than that. Oh, and I hear this Gaga gal could use some hits on her YouTube page, so I'm just trying to do my part...
Howard Jones: "Everlasting Love" -- Okay, this one is not scary at all, but it has mummies. You're welcome.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!
