I think animal masks are a totally valid music video motif. These two both happen to feature them, so snuggle up next to someone special and enjoy. Happy Valentine's Day.
Bat for Lashes "What's a Girl To Do?"
I love when a video captures the mood and essence of the song as well as it does here. It's dark and a bit creepy but kind of mesmerizing, just like song. Plus, who doesn't to love jumping bmx riders wearing animal masks? "What's a Girl to Do?" is on Bat for Lashes' 2007 debut album Fur and Gold.
Miike Snow "Animal"
Another great song with an equally enjoyable video. And a more literal use of animal masks here. "Animal" is the Swedish band's first single from their debut self-titled album, which I'm really loving these days. Check it out!
