Expand your mind. Or don't. Happy Oscar Sunday!
-The Whitest Boy Alive "Golden Cage"-
I love the interactive quality of this video and how it makes you use your brain. I've really liked this song for a while and it's on my current playlist (I'm a sucker for heavy basslines). Here, it's basically just background music for a lesson in optical illusions, which is great fun. Watch this with your friends.
-Vitalic "Poney Part 1"-
No thinking necessary here. Unlike "Golden Cage", this video asks nothing of its audience other than to simply stare at what is taking place on the screen""dogs flying through the air in slow motion against an indefinite background. Kind of mesmerizing"¦
-MGMT "Time to Pretend"-
This is pretty straightforward but I'll leave you to make of it what you will. Really looking forward to their follow-up album, Congratulations, to 2007's Oracular Spectacular to be released next month!
