Come wiz me to ze movie. Ze outdoor movie under ze stars. Wait, come back, darleeng! Where are you going? “Zee cabbage does not run away from zee corned beef!”

 

Why, hello there! I am Pepe Le Pew’s long lost sister, Pita Le Pew! I am a lover of all things romantic! I like to snuggle, cuddle, and get under the blankets with... with none other than my little wiener dog, Bella, of course! I’m not a PDA kind of gal, so I haven’t yet tried this in public, but I’m tempted, very tempted. Especially because summer movie season is in full swing! But, more importantly, because outdoor summer movie season under ze stars is in full swing! Le rawr! Well, my cream puffs, this is your lucky day! I’m going to share a list of venues participating in this summer movie love affair. Here you go:

 

Fandango Presents: EatSeeHear -- Movies, Food Trucks, and Music... all summer long! Tickets range from $8 to $20. Relax, unwind, and escape for for a few hours every Saturday night. Don’t be afraid to indulge in some tasty treats too!

 

Valley Cultural Movie Schedule -- Mark your calendars for a family movie night every Saturday (July 14th through August 25th) at Warner Park, Woodland Hills. You need to go... not only because it’s free, but because it’s F-R-E-E!

 

Brentwood Country Mart -- No need to dread Mondays anymore! Through the end of August, Brentwood Country Mart will be featuring movies under the stars every Monday evening at 6:00! Yay for Monday funday!

 

Alfredo's Beach Club -- “We’re off to see the wizard, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” at Alfredo’s Beach Club! I don’t think it gets any better than “Moonlight Movies on the Beach”. Movie screenings every Monday and Tuesday, July through early-September.

 

Street Food Cinema -- Come on over to Exposition Park near Downtown’s historic Coliseum and enjoy an evening with friends and family. Live bands, 6-12 food trucks, games, and a movie screening every Saturday night! Don’t you love summertime? Festivals galore! 

 

W Los Angeles Movie Night -- The W Hotel is going 6 years strong with its summer cinema series! Enjoy new releases and cult classics every Sunday night! Oh, and admission is... wait what’s that word again? Ah, yes, F-R-Double-E-Dizzle!

 

Hollywood Roosevelt's Tropicana Pool -- Looks like the legendary Hollywood Hotel is partaking in the outdoor summer movie madness! Every Monday night, a celebrity or filmmaker will choose a movie to screen and host the event. My idea of the perfect date night (cozy and inexpensive)!

 

Cinespia -- If you’re an L.A. native and have never been to a movie screening in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, then you are missing out! This is a favorite among avid movie goers! Bring blankets, pillows, food, and get nice and comfy! Don’t forget drinks (alcohol for you adults... and milk for you underage folk)! Tickets available online and at the door.

 

Time to start packing for my picnic under zee stars! Bread (check), Cheese (check), Wine (Double-check)... looks like I’m ready to go! Have a great summer, y’all!
