Are those wedding bells I hear? Why, yes, they are! Who is the unlikely pair whose about to tie the knot?

 

It’s none other than "SNL" funnyman Jason Sudeikis and movie beauty Olivia Wilde!

 

The twosome got engaged shortly after the holidays after more than a year of dating. This talented duo has conquered television and movies separately, and who knows what projects they may do together now that they’re engaged?

 

In addition to his work on "Saturday Night Live", Sudeikis has starred in films such as Hall Pass, Horrible Bosses, as well as recurring roles in "30 Rock" and "The Cleveland Show".

 

Wilde, on the other hand, is most known for her film work, including Cowboys and Aliens, The Words, TRON: Legacy, and In Time with Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. She also had a prominent role in the television series "House M.D.", and she was an instrumental part of the independent short documentary, Baseball in the Time of Cholera (see us chat with her about it at Tribeca here!).

 

Both talents are giving marriage their second try, but don't worry, these are no commitment-phobes -- Wilde was married to an Italian prince, Tao Ruspoli, for nearly ten years, while Sudeikis was previously wed to Kay Cannon, a "30 Rock" writer and producer, for six years after having dated for 5 years prior to that.

 

This comedic actor and stunning actress are rising up in their careers and have become very successful in their own rights, but now that they are heading down the aisle, we have to wonder, are there any joint projects in the pipeline? Both have proven in the past that they can hold their own in several different genres, and there's no reason to think their real-life chemistry won't translate on-screen... But, then again, there's always Gigli...
