Subaru owners are like best friends -- extremely loyal. Or to put it another way: they love their cars so much that they created a term of endearment for their prized possessions: Subies. According to J.D. Power and Associates, 48 percent of Subaru owners buy another Subie. Only Toyota, Lexus, and Honda have a higher retention rate. Suburu owners tend to me much happier with their cars than owners of such brands as Acura, Audi, Infiniti, Nissan, and Porsche. The B9 Tribeca The name is derived from Robert De Niro's cool neighborhood in New York City, which is an area called the TRIangle BElow CAnal Street.Subaru was fond of the name. It is uncertain whether they want to identify with the urban chic associated with De Niro's early New York catalogue. The other part of the name was lifted from the brand's recent concept cars"in particular the B9 Scrambler shown at the 2003 Tokyo motor show"and is a reminder of Subaru's new aeronautical face, whose air intakes are supposed to suggest a fuselage and wings. The Tribeca B9 is not only the biggest Subaru ever, but far and away the plushest. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, and perfect for a night out in Los Angeles. Seating for seven will ensure that everyone will end up taking your car, but they will be rewarded with a comfortable journey. The B9 Tribeca took home Interior of the Year from Ward's Auto World in the Premium Priced Cross Utility Vehicle (CUV) category. Subuaru has earned their new slogan, Confidence Personified, since their cars are among the safest on the road, especially the Tribeca. It received a 5-Star Government Crash Test Rating.
