Star-Lit Getaways: Moab, Utah, Here We Come!

So, it’s finally officially summer! And instead of lounging in Santa Barbara or laying out in the Hamptons, some of the stars are hitting a very different kind of hot locale, and it’s Moab, Utah -- one of the most gorgeous locations in the Southwest.

You might know Moab from the 1988 classic, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, or from those arm-throbbing scenes starring James Franco in 127 Hours. Either way, tons of legendary films have been shot on-location in the Moab area. The red rock scenery, along with two national parks, makes this quite the set... and as you know, Young Hollywood loves to set-visit!

Currently filming in Moab are a couple of highly-anticipated films -- both After Earth, starring Will Smith, and The Lone Ranger, starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. But where do these A-Listers actually stay while shooting in Moab? Oh, just at the most beautiful places on earth: the Sorrel River Ranch Resort & Spa. This isn’t your everyday hotel. This is some serious Hollywood luxury, featuring “Cowboy Chic” accommodations with an Adventure Concierge who can arrange private jets, helicopters, ATV tours, and Hummer excursions. From horseback riding, to off-roading, to mountain biking and hiking, the Moab backdrop has it all, and the Sorrel River Ranch Resort & Spa has it all covered. Did I mention the farm-to-plate dining from their on-site greenhouse and garden?

So, you can eat like a star, do some yoga like a star, and see the stars without enduring the traffic or smog on Hollywood Boulevard. Check it out here www.sorrelriver.com!
