She is young, talented, fresh faced and on one of the top rated shows on the CW network. Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Sophia Bush is truly an All-American girl. Sophia is an only child that was raised by two creative parents, both of whom have careers in photography. She grew up as an athlete, playing varsity volleyball in high school, and, despite enjoying her required theater class, didn't consider acting seriously until her graduation. This 2000 Tournament of Roses Parade Queen went on to the University of Southern California (USC), where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Her education at USC was cut short when her acting career took off.She first appeared on the big screen in the motion picture comedy, Van Wilder,ù starring Ryan Reynolds.
