Attention all business women, girly tech geeks and futuristic drag queens - the purse of tomorrow is here today! So I actually think this little purse is cute, by itself. But then I learned it's solar-powered. That piqued my interest. A sun-charged purse; does it have a stun setting? No, but if you're a girl on the go it's the perfect accessory! Plug in your cell, iPod, BlackBerry - even a camera - directly to the USB port (plug in thingie) or by using an adapter (plug in thingie attached to a cord). The decorative panels are actually little textile film cells that absorb the sun's rays and convert them directly into electricity. Thus, you can use it to charge up your stuff! You're basically getting a free power source. It will also score you points with that cute hippy boy you've been eyeing but too shy to approach. You can chat up how ecological and environmentally aware you are because of your fashion-forward purse. So you save money and score a date. The two most important things in life, basically. The purse needs just two hours of sunlight to give you a full charge. A fully charged battery can last up to a month before use and the wires are all hidden inside. The designer, engineering student Joe Hynek, crafted the first power purse three years ago during a competition at Iowa State University. His Solarjo is due to go on sale by the end of this year. Just in time for Christmas! Word.
