Singer, songwriter, fashion icon… movie star? That’s right, Lady Gaga announced on Twitter that she’ll be making her acting debut in director Robert Rodriguez's film, Machete Kills, a sequel to his 2010 movie, Machete.

 

Gaga tweeted: "Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress in the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane." She then tweeted a picture of the movie poster, featuring the superstar wrapped in a dead wolf with thigh-high stockings… and not much else. The Marilyn Monroe-esque beauty holds a smoking gun while giving a sultry stare; the girl's got looks to kill!

 

Rodriquez also took to Twitter to express his excitement: "I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!"

 

Not much is known about her character at this point, other than that her name is La Chameleón, and she knows how to handle a weapon!

 

Get ready, Little Monsters, Gaga’s about to kick some big-screen butt!
