Rihanna's nineteen and living the dream. Born in Saint Michael, Barbados, being crowned Miss Combermere, and introduced to music producer, Evan Rogers was this singer/model's one way ticket to Hollywood! Being signed by Def Jam records, Rihanna debuted with her album, Music of the Sun, in August 2005. Moving very quickly, she released her second album, A Girl like Me, April 2006 and this is where she stole many hearts, including her boyfriend (who later became a subject of one of her most popular songs).

The lead single, "SOS" was stuck in every teenager's head during that dreaded Spanish test at one time or another. Closely following behind was that oh-so-cute love song with an evil twist, "Unfaithful". Rihanna surprised everyone and blew her fans away when they realized she wasn't expressing her love, she was confessing that she had been cheating all along! Wow, she's certainly keeping it real and that's exactly why Young Hollywood likes her. Her boldness in admitting the truth and in turn, expressing it through her music is a noble characteristic that should not be overlooked. Rhianna, among a handful of other stars in Young Hollywood, made her acting debut in the 2006 movie, Bring It On with her song, All or Nothing. She's up for Best Female Artist of the Year at the 2007 MTV, VMA's and if her luck is as good as her success, she'll be skipping away with the coveted award." Jealous much? We think so!
