Recap: Nicole Richie + Christina Aguilera Celebrate NYE in Vegas

Just as we predicted, Sin City was indeed the hottest destination to ring in the New Year. Nicole Richie's star-studded bash at LAVO was definitely the place to be to kick off the countdown! With more than enough champagne to go around and sick beats courtesy of baby daddy, Joel Madden, the crowd was all revved up by the time Nicole led the countdown to 2010. At the stroke of midnight Nicole told the crowd to smile as she snapped a photo to post on Twitter. Among the many guests who packed the venue to partake in the festivities were Deryck Whibley, Michael Steger and Devon Aoki, as well as a few members of the YH team, including Michelle Marie.

Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera led her own countdown over at TAO, where many of LAVO's partiers migrated after 2010 officially began. Christina was accompanied by hubby Jordan Bratman and her posse of trusty dancers. We can safely say that both parties were a huge hit as promised. The photos and unusually gnarly New Year's Day hangovers that lasted until 6pm for almost everyone who attended prove it.
