Real Life Besties Teaming Up For New Sitcom

It looks like “The Office” star Angela Kinsey has already lined up a post-Dunder Mifflin gig! The hilarious actress is set to star in a comedy pilot alongside her buddy, fellow funnylady Rachael Harris, on Fox. The show, entitled “Dirty Blondes”, is being produced by “Glee” scribe Stacy Traub and will be based on the real-life girl-mance between the two blondes. The show will follow two friends who help each other out after each goes throw a gut-wrenching divorce. Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer is set to direct the pilot.

The stars of “The Office” have been quite busy lining up new TV gigs. Mindy Kaling’s comedy, “The Mindy Project”, is already off to a great start, while Rainn Wilson is in the process of working on his Dwight Shrute spinoff, “The Farm”.

Kinsey and Harris originally met at L.A.’s Groundlings, which has produced other comedy greats including Bridesmaids writers Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo. While Kinsey has been busy with “The Office”, Harris recently starred on Fox’s other hit “New Girl” and The Hangover.

Are you as excited as I am for “Dirty Blondes”?
