Did you vote for Pedro? Salvadorian-Mexican actor Efren Ramirez played Pedro in the classic comedy Napoleon Dynamite, which captured the hearts of audiences everywhere and has been leaving them in stitches since its release in 2004. The movie became so popular that everyone was wearing the Vote for Pedro t-shirts and muttering Gosh! for months.

Coming off of the success of Napoleon Dynamite, Efren has shot several movies including Employee of the Month with Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson and the action flick Crank with Amy Smart. Efren is a fearless actor who has taken on several dramatic roles to broaden his audience and show that he can do more than just comedy. In addition, Efren started Powerhouse Pictures Entertainment with Chris Barrett and is working on developing projects he would like to produce. While growing up, he took theater classes at The Theater of Arts and attended an all boys high school with his twin brother, Carlos. Carlos is also an actor that has been featured in comedy shorts such as The Run, and Getting' Some Jail Time and most recently the independent film, The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down. Besides acting, the brothers share another common interest " music. Carlos is a dance instructor heavily involved with electronic dance music. Efren tried his hand at rapping on MTV's Celebrity Rap Superstar but his version of Cypress Hills' Insane in the Membrane did not go over well with the judges. He may not do much rapping, but he is a solid DJ who tours all over the world, spinning Hip Hop to Hard House music. The brothers have always loved music and Efren has been able to incorporate it into his career whenever possible. His dream came true when he composed the score to the 2003 independent film Nines. Carlos and Efren have a passion for music and entertainment that will take them far. With innumerable film projects and their forays into music, Carlos and Efren are sure to experience even more success. They have Young Hollywood's vote!
