R. Kelly's "Love Letter" to His Fans

R. Kelly’s loyal fan base has showed him some mad love over the years, and this past week was no different. Wishing him a “Happy Birthday” on Saturday (January 8) with lots of electronic letters of congratulations on his newest album, Love Letters, his followers gave him the sweetest love letters of all.

Returning the favor in a big way, Kels gave a heart-felt shout out to his fans, and he also sang “Happy Birthday” to himself, reminding us all of his impressive vocal range and smooth sense for sound.

This new album reflects a return to R. Kelly’s roots as a sincere and expressive singer/songwriter. His rendition of “Happy Birthday” shows that the R. Kelly touch can make just about anything sound soulful and unique.
