"Pan Am" Ascends Higher, Adds Ashley Greene to the Manifest

We foresee the future of "Pan Am" taking off!

The ABC period drama is gearing up for Twilight actress Ashley Greene's guest-starring role. Ashley is signed on to appear for a three-episode arc on the 1960s drama.

Ashley has been very busy in recent years. In addition to being the face of Avon's Mark collection, she most famously plays Alice Cullen in the Twilight Saga (Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is in theatres now!). Next up, Ashley will appear in the much talked about movie, LOL: Laughing Out Loud, which also features Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore. Her role on "Pan Am" is set to begin with the December 4th episode, "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," where Ashley will play a feisty socialite from co-pilot Ted's (Michael Moseley) past.

"Pan Am" focuses on the pilots and stewardesses working at Pan American Airlines in the United States during the "jet set" era. The show stars Christina Ricci (Sleepy Hollow, Penelope), Kelli Garner (The Aviator), Margot Robbie ("Neighbours"), Michael Mosley (The Proposal, 27 Dresses), Karine Vanasse (Midnight In Paris), and Mike Vogel (Cloverfield, Blue Valentine). Writer Jack Orman ("ER") and director Thomas Schlamme ("The West Wing") bring all kinds of drama to the show -- both personal and political!

Though the show is garnering all sorts of critical praise and ratings are respectable, "Pan Am" has not yet received a full season order from ABC. They have, however, ordered five more episodes and hired a new showrunner, Steve Maeda ("Lost").

"Pan Am" stands out from most other shows on television as a vibrant time warp into another time. Each of the characters are strong-willed and diverse. Also, with the added intrigue of character Kate Cameron spying for the CIA, there is a whole other level of intrigue and suspense.

Still early in its debut season, "Pan Am" is quickly becoming one of the most dynamic shows on television. The talented cast members, the incredible visual experience, along with the intriguing secret lives of the Pan Am staff, make this a show to watch! With Ashley Greene's upcoming guest spot on the dramatic retro show, "Pan Am" is sure to be unstoppable!
