At the beginning of summer, leopard and zebra print hit the shelves and filled the stockrooms of numerous clothing stores. From shirts to handbags, animal print became the number one priority for every woman's wardrobe. Unlike most fads, animal print has outlasted the seasonal novelty and has remained in high demand. But as winter knocks at our backdoor, new fashion trends emerge and animal print should lose some of its prominence.

Fashion is constantly changing. Creating the perception that if you don't adapt you will get left behind should be avoided. Creativity and originality get lost within today's craze and simplicity has been thrown out the door. Animal prints took the industry by storm and consumers felt obligated to buy. This fad has finally reached its climax and must die down.
