Break out the surf boards, because it’s that time of year again. Yup, it’s Teen Choice Awards season!

 

The event which celebrates the biggest, boldest, and brightest teens in the entertainment industry will air on Sunday, July 22 on FOX.

 

There is so much to look forward to at this year’s TCAs, it is hard for us to even contain our excitement as we anxiously await the night that is known for recognizing and celebrating the youngest and freshest stars in the industry. 

 

The “first wave” of nominees has already been announced, and there are LOADS of people and shows who will have us clenching our teeth in eagerness as we watch and see who will win in July.

 

After a stellar year on the charts, it’s no surprise that Justin Bieber leads the pack of top artist categories, after being nominated five times for the much sought-after surfboard trophy. While the Biebs rules the musical set of awards, “The Vampire Diaries” and “American Idol” will duke it out for TV supremecy, each garnering six and five nominations, respectively.

 

Of course, one of the best parts of award shows is the musical performances that accompany them, and this year, what better way to celebrate some of the best in the entertainment industry than with a comeback from one of the greatest acts in pop music, No Doubt?

 

The pop-punk rockers, fronted by platinum blonde superstar Gwen Stefani, will debut their new song during the awards night, and it is the first time the act has performed together since 2009, when they performed at Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit.

 

The biggest teen idols in one room AND new music from No Doubt? There’s too much to look forward to at this year’s TCAs! Is it July 22 yet?
