Did you wake up on the wrong side of Tuesday morning today, and didn’t want to get out of bed? Well, you are in luck. Tegan and Sara is one of my FAVORITE bands, and what is a better way to start off your day then watching/dancing along to their new music video for their song “Closer”?

 

This '80s-themed video features both girls singing karaoke at a party. It feels very 13 Going On 30-meets-basement party. It begins showing the karaoke screen and fades to view Tegan & Sara singing at the party. Then the story branches out switches among the scenes of the friends at the party putting make-up on each other, playing Spin The Bottle, taking photos, and dancing. 

 

This song makes me want to dress up and dance around the room singing along karaoke-style! I warn you, it is extremely difficult to stay sitting while watching this video... even in the car, I will be dancing. Beware, drivers on the 405, I will be car-dancing, so steer clear!
