You know, your hair has quite a mouth on it! Especially on bad hair days... it likes to ramble on and on. Jeez Louise! Some days I can’t get my own hair to pipe down! It’s so particular about how it wants to be styled and caressed. It tells me when it’s feeling dry or shiny. It shows me split ends when it’s ready for a cut. It reveals gray hairs when it wants to be colored. And, best of all, my cowlicks notify me when they’re feeling a little frisky! Yes, I have very demanding hair!
I know I’m not alone on this matter. Our health and our hair are so intricately wound. Not enough vitamins/poor nutrition? Your hair will know. Stressed at all? It will show. Any hormonal issues going on? You can’t keep it a secret from your hair. Health conditions such as anemia, lupus, hypothyroidism? Your hair will smell it from a mile away! As far as other hair loss/thinning issues... well, we have Mom and Dad to thank for those!
Frankly, your hair may be in need of a resurrection. And although we may shudder at the thought of change, it’s necessary. Wouldn’t you feel liberated if you chopped your hair off and got a pixie cut like Michelle Williams or Ginnifer Goodwin? How about a short hair style like Viola Davis or Mandy Moore? What if you donated your hair to a child in need? That would give you some incentive to cut your hair!

Truth is, some of us aren’t bold enough to rock a pixie cut or a really short 'do. Don’t worry, there are other options! You can always try a bob/lob like Jennifer Aniston (who always has the coolest 'do), or you can go ombre on your bob like Miley Cyrus. If you have long hair, there are so many ways to spice it up. Maybe you’re feeling the summer fever and want to go blonde. I suggest you take some notes from Carrie Underwood and Emma Stone.

If you’re a brunette and want to stick to your roots, than you can always add some highlights like Jessica Biel to give your hair some sass. You can also cut bold bangs like Zooey Deschanel or please your inner firecracker by dying your hair red like Isla Fisher. Lastly, for you sexy, seductive, black-haired temptresses, you can style your hair sleek straight like Zoe Saldana or opt for a wavy 'do like Rihanna.

As you can see, there are so many hairstyles to choose from. Don’t be afraid to push the envelope a little and try an edgier look (within work guidelines, of course)! And always remember: Hair. Grows. Back!
