Vogue UK has named British model Cara Delevinge Model of the Year, and has featured her on the cover of their March issue. Being a Vogue cover girl is a huge honor any day of the week, but this one is even more special because it's one of the thickest they make all year due to International Fashion Week.

 

"Being asked to do a British Vogue cover - I didn't really believe it at first. I think it's something that as a kid you look up to so much," she said. "It's one of the most shocking things that has ever happened to me, I think… I'm going to run out of the shop with 20 copies in my hands, going 'Oh my God, this is me! Oh my God!'"

 

This 20-year-old is taking over the fashion world. Cara is one of the 2012’s breakout stars who has starred in ad campaigns for Burberry, DKNY, Chanel, and walking runaways for the likes of Marc Jacobs. She is currently signed with modeling agencies all around the world including Milan, London, New York, and Paris. 

 

The thick-browed beaute also gained much attention in the U.S. after appearing at the 2012 Victoria Secret Fashion Show alongside of many famous VS Angels (as well as Justin Bieber, who clearly approved!).

 

 

Cara says her favorite parts about modeling are the clothes, the people she meets, and the experiences that come along with it. She also says she would one day love to design her own clothes.
