Man’s Best Friend Does More Than Just Tricks

Dogs are taking the celebrity world by storm. They are appearing in ads, writing books, and have fans around the world.

If you haven’t heard of him, his name is Boo. Boo has been dubbed The World's Cutest Dog, with a Facebook fan page that has over four million followers.

Boo may just be a Pomeranian with a funky haircut, but he already has a book out, Boo, The Life of the World’s Cutest Dog. It is a picture book, filled with fun moments of Boo in his daily life.

Check out the reaction when people see Boo on the Streets:

Check Boo out on Anderson Cooper, who dispelled the rumors that Boo had died:

Boo in many ways became an accidental celebrity, but he isn’t the only dog making headlines. Other dogs really work hard at their status, like Uggie, the Jack Russell terrier from The Artist, who has his own memoir coming out. Unlike Boo, Uggie puts in long hours on the set, appearing in other such acclaimed films such as The Descendants and Water for Elephants. He definitely has a decent IMDb page.

The book, Uggie: My Story will hit bookshelves in October. A dog whisperer, Wendy Holden, will be transcribing the biography presumably after conducting interviews with Uggie.

We had our own conversation with Uggie during Awards Season; check it out:

But both Boo and Uggie might have to watch their tales, if Kasey has anything to say about it. The canine thespian can be seen in the upcoming Lawrence Kasdan drama, Darling Companion, and he accompanied his co-stars Mark Duplass and Ayelet Zurer to the Studio, where he showed off his unmistakable charm:

Movies, pictures, and even books are fun to see dogs do, but the moment a dog starts hawking perfume, it might not be so cute anymore.
